Compass BE is a dynamic English Language Arts program that guides students to become informed global citizens by navigating the bilingual world. Aligned to Puerto Rico’s English Content Standards (2022) and the U.S. Common Core Standards, the program integrates vocabulary, reading, writing, language conventions, listening and speaking skills, and more to build literacy.

Growing Up English series is a project designed to strengthen social, academic, and thinking skills. Our project frames and supports the English content for kindergarten to sixth-grade students.
With the Language Log, students follow a comprehensive thinking-, content-, and skills-based curriculum. They discuss nine Big Questions a year, exploring fiction and non-fiction sources, and learn explicit grammar and vocabulary in a methodical, competency-based CEFR approach to the four skills.
The Phonics and Spelling Log follows US Common Core Standards, with an expanded syllabus for early literacy support in basic sounds and spelling conventions.
This vibrant reading program equips students to become stronger readers by developing reading strategies, and building students’ awareness of literary and author techniques, giving them a collection of skills to increase overall comprehension and encourage critical thinking.
