Los lectores de este libro, jóvenes y adultos, repasarán la historia de Puerto Rico a través del relato de dos historiadores que se distiguen por su rigor en el uso y estudio de las fuentes primarias. Estudiarán el desarrrollo económico, político, social y cultural de los puertorriqueños a través de los hechos y personajes que han trazado la trayectoria de nuestro país hasta hoy. La gran aportación de esta publicación trasciende la compilación de los temas y nos regala un caudal de referencias bibliográficas sobre historiografía puertorriqueña hasta las investigaciones más recientes.
